How It Works

  1. Choose a charity to help – There are so many charities and non-profit organizations that are looking for financial help. They each do amazing work in their areas of need.  Hopefully you have a charity that is near and dear to your heart that will benefit from your event.
  2. Decide on several possible dates – Pick dates that you know that your friends and family are mostly likely to be available for a night out.
  1. Contact Massages for Charity  708-449-0849 to confirm a date
  1. Invite you friends, family and co-workers – You should invite everyone you know. You never know who might be interested in a massage or who would like to help your charity/cause!Terries MFCIP
  2. Schedule appointments – It is best to schedule your appointments back to back. There is very little transition time involved and we want to respect your friends time and honor you and opening up your home to host a fundraising party.
  1. Confirm your party with your therapist – One to two days before the party date, the therapist will contact you to confirm how many people you have coming to your party and what time you have scheduled the first client for their massage. This way we can ensure we have enough clean sheets for everyone.  If there are any last minute changes we ask that contact us immediately to let us know.      cropped-Carla-massage-2.jpg
  2. Set aside a private area for the massages – The room does not have to be huge. We have set up in all types of areas.  It can be a spare bedroom, office area, or basement.  The key is that we can turn off the lights, have access to electrical outlets, and that we can have privacy.  We don’t want other people walking through the area.                                                                                                                                                                                                    8. Choose some snacks to servesunbow-table-mfcip_2132016Keep it simple is basic or as elaborate as you want!                                                                 Some hosts just do snacks others a full buffet and a charge per plate. It’s up to you.
  1. Have your party! – This is best part! You now get to sit around and relax with your guests.  There is nothing more enjoyable than a night with those you care about.  The only thing left to do on the day of the event is to keep everyone on schedule and collect the money!
